Question. What are the operating hours?
Answer. Monday though Friday from 8 AM until 5 Pm. Saturday from 8 AM until 12 Noon.
Question. How do I go about renting equipment?
Answer. For new customers before you can rent equipment you must agree to and sign our terms and conditions agreement. For your protection and ours, we require new customers to be present for the rental. You must bring valid identification and a credit card (preferably not a debit card) that is in your name to rent equipment from our company.
Question. How do I pay for the rental equipment?
Answer. Rental charges, including deposits and taxes are collected in advance when you pick-up or have equipment delivered to you. It’s best to pay with a credit card. It may take up to 10 days for your deposit to be returned to you if you use a debit card. We accept VISA, MASTER CARD and DISCOVER.
Question. Why must I pay a deposit?
Answer. Deposits are to ensure the equipment is returned in the same condition minus reasonable wear and tear. The deposit is typically taken by running a charge on your credit card. When the equipment is returned on time and free of damage the entire amount will be refunded to your credit card. The deposit amount depends on the equipment being rented.
Question. Can I pay in cash?
Answer. Yes, you can if you are willing to leave the replacement value of the equipment, also in cash. At the time of the rental return we can accept cash or check for the rental. When the cash payment is applied, the credit card used initially will be credited.
Question. What if I return equipment that is damaged or dirty?
Answer. If the damage is due to misuse, abuse, neglect, overloading or anything that is not fair wear and tear you are responsible for the repair/replacement of the equipment. Cleaning charges may be assessed for unusually dirty returned equipment. Please be aware we are not in the repair business, and it may take several days to assess the damage and repair costs. Your deposit will not be returned until then.
Question. How are delivery/pickup charges assessed?
Answer. We live in a remote area with many long dirt roads. Dirt roads have a 20 MPH speed limit. To make it fair for everyone we charge $50.00 per hour. The time starts when the driver is given your work order and ends when he/she returns to our location. You can request a copy of the work order.
Question. Who is responsible for the fuel used during the time the equipment is rented?
Answer. The customer is. We send out with a full fuel tank and expect it returned with a full fuel tank. If we must refuel the equipment, you will be charged according to the price of fuel when we last purchased it, plus $2.00 per gallon to recover costs for labor to get the fuel.
Question. How are weekend rates determined?
Answer. We are open from 8 AM till 12 noon on Saturdays. Weekend rates are for 48 hours. If you pick up a piece of equipment at 10 AM on Saturday, then the equipment is due back in on Monday at 10 AM. Equipment rented after Noon on Friday can be returned by 9:00 a.m. on Monday for a 2-day charge.
Question. Can I have a piece of equipment delivered at an exact time?
Answer. Not always. We are a small company with only two delivery trucks. Delivery and Pick-Up times are scheduled in 1/2-day windows. The morning window is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The afternoon window is from 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m. We will make every attempt to accommodate your needs. Please be aware that delays in delivery or pick-up due to inability to reach you could result in additional charges. Before delivery of your rental equipment, our dispatcher or driver will call to confirm that there will be someone at the delivery location to accept delivery and verify that all items you ordered are being delivered. Similarly, our dispatcher or driver will call to verify that you are ready to have your equipment picked up. If we are unable to reach you at the phone number(s) you have given, we will not deliver or pick-up your equipment until we are able to get in contact with you. Please be aware that delays in delivery or pick-up due to inability to reach you could result in additional charges.
All deliveries are “Tail Gate”, meaning our truck will pull up to the requested address or location and unload rental equipment near the truck. It is the customer’s responsibility to get the rental items where they need to go. All rental equipment must be cleaned and staged where it was dropped off.
